Tale of the Tune:
When I was a kid, my brother and I (and some neighborhood kids) would ride our BMX bikes everywhere. It was amazing. On the weekends and all summer long, we would ride all over the place.
 
Believe it or not, I wrote the chorus for this tune, “We are the Biking Brothers and we bike all around, we are the Biking Brothers and we bike around town”, way back in about 1988. I would sing it when we were riding, much to my brother’s chagrin, I’m sure. 
 
On Mother’s Day 2018, we had the fam over and I realized a complete song was needed.  So, just last night, Wednesday, May 23, 2018, I decided to add some verses and turn it into a real song.
 
If you were riding your bike around Webster Groves in the mid-late 80s/early 90s, then I’m sure we crossed paths. Those were the days.
 
If you haven’t gotten out on the bike in a while, I’d highly recommend it. As the song says, my brother and I still ride and it is always a blast. I feel like a kid again. Going fast will forever be amazing!
